In 2017, the French Federation of Ice Sports had wished to enter the organization of this event. The 23rd has been a bit of a transition year for everyone to see how it can bring the best for the future of the French Cup. This year, the organization is tripartite. Indeed, the undeniable success of the event for 24 years, has led the French Federation of Ice Sports (FFSG) and the French Ice Sports League to support the Rouen Olympic Club, in the organization of this event. event. In this context, the Organizing Committee and the few hundred volunteers from Rouen continue to advance the level of demand and quality of the French Cup, which make it a recognized competition on the international circuit and deeply rooted locally. We will welcome 23 teams from 8 different nations. I am delighted to note the presence of all the qualified French teams on the international circuit this year - including Team Jeanne d'Arc. This year again we will be particularly vigilant in terms of safety. But, the parade of the teams of the different nations will be able to walk in the streets of our city. The finish and all the festivities will be gathered at the rink, including the draw which will launch the competition on Thursday, February 1st. Finally, this edition should be the last competition in the rink Guy Boissière as it exists today, pending the work that will begin after the French Cup and an enlarged gauge that will accommodate even more fans of grace and of technique next year!
