Rouen, the French capital of synchronized ice skating, is happy to invite you from February 5th to February 6th 2010 at the Olympic ice Skating rink in Rouen to the "French Cup 2010"

This year again hundreds of participants will be demonstrating their progress in the ice skating ring of the Guy Boissière sports center.

I would like to thank the Rouen county council, le County, the regional department, l'Agglo, the voluntary workers, and especially you our sports teams, and back up members, thanks to you all , this competition has now won international recognition

I wish you a pleasant stay, an exciting competition, and as the saying goes, may the best team win !

Rouen

 

Rouen is 125 000 habitants city at 1 hour and half from Paris, at midway from the D-Day beaches.

Rouen is well known because of Joan of Arc, burned in the city in 1431. The visitors can enjoy the remaining mediaeval houses.

The ice rink

 

The ice rink is located on an island of the Seine river, just in the centre of the city.

The place can contain up to 2500 visitors. The main ring is 30m large for 60m long. A second rink increases the facilities for practice.
